Campus Heroes Recognized for Quick Action

School Board members were honored to recognize the quick actions of Anthony McCray, Janice Hancock, and Joseph Southwell, (pictured with Dr. Coker) three Riser Middle School employees who recently saved the day.  When a classroom fire broke out at the school, the quick thinking of these three alleviated the possibility of major damage and tragic consequences from happening.  Their actions kept students and employees safe, as well as minimizing damage to just the one classroom rather than a whole school (or two since the elementary is connected.)  We couldn’t be more proud of these employees for their heroic action!
