NOTE: Staff have been assigned a training date according to their expiration date.
Please contact Amanda Tullos if there are scheduling conflicts.

CPI Training is a Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program.

 

If there is a student at your school requiring physical intervention
due to behavior or safety concerns, 
the intervening faculty member MUST be trained. 

 

CPI also teaches you how to recognize certain situations and tactics to deescalate situations before they become physical.

Though this is not mandatory training, each school has a Crisis Team, and this team should be CPI trained. 

This training is not limited to the Crisis Team Members; it is open to ANY OPSB employee.

 

Although, we are trying to have all PARAs trained, along with Special Ed faculty.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the training!!!

 

INITIAL/ Full Training is for employees that have not been trained or

their training was more than 2 years ago.

 (If you are not sure, let me know and I will check our database.) 

The full training will begin at 8:30 and end around 3:00 p.m.

 

REFRESHER TRAINING    - Training dates have been assigned.  
Each school Principal or designated staff member will have your Refresher dates.
