Mandatory Training for Coaches
MANDATORY COACH’S TRAINING:
This training is required under Louisiana Law, and should be completed by all coaches NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2026.
Thank you for partnering with EPIC Education and Consulting to complete the annual education required for sport coaches. Ouachita Parish will be using the following link to meet the requirements of the annual education for high school and middle school coaches. Please click on the link below and click on “Enroll for Free” to begin the course. The course is approximately 90 minutes in length and is best taken on a computer. This course will NOT work properly on a mobile device causing you to possibly restart. Upon successful course completion, a statement of completion will be immediately available for the user to download and send to the designated athletic administrator at your school or school district. HOW TO UPLOAD CERTIFICATE:
1. Save certificate to your Desktop.
2. Go to OPSB.net -> click "Portals" at the top left on the home page.
3. Click "Employee Records" -> log in with your OPSB email and password.
4. Go to Available Forms -> click on "Coaches Training Certificate" folder.
5. Click "Add By Uploading Document".
6. Click "Browse" and select your certificate that you saved to your Desktop.
7. Upon selection, the window will disappear and refresh, and you will see your saved document in the folder.
