Policy Review Committee

The purpose of the Policy Review Committee (subcommittee of the School Board appointed by the Board President) is to review and discuss any and all policies related to operation of the Ouachita Parish School System. The Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring policies are up-to-date, relevant, and compliant with laws and regulations. Committee recommendations and meeting minutes are presented to the School Board in official School Board Meetings. 

The Policy Review Committee meets as needed when there are policy changes or implementations to be considered by the School Board. Meeting dates and times are posted as soon a meeting is scheduled. Meetings are held in the Board Room of the Central Office and are open to the public, as well as being broadcast live on our YouTube channel.  Meeting Agendas are posted on the website calendar event, physically on the door of the Central Office, and here on this page.
