Finance Committee
The purpose of the Finance Committee (subcommittee of the School Board appointed by the Board President) is to review and discuss any and all fiscal matters related to operation of the Ouachita Parish School System. Committee recommendations and meeting minutes are presented to the School Board in official School Board Meetings. The Finance Committee meets every third Tuesday of each quarter in July, November, February, and May (unless otherwise noted.) Other "Special Called Meetings" may be called by the chairperson as needed.
All meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. (unless otherwise noted) in the Board Room of the Central Office and are open to the public, as well as broadcast live on the School Board YouTube channel. Meeting Agendas are posted on the website calendar event, physically on the door of the Central Office, and here on this page.
