High School Student of the Year Recognized as State Finalist

A recently graduated senior at Sterlington High School, Emma Agan is a 4.0 student and scored a 33 on her ACT. She has received recognition as Sterlington's Citizen of the Month and has served in school organizations such as Fellowship of Christian Students, National Art Honor Society, Beta Club, and the Multi-Cultural Society. She has performed, directed, and written for the Strauss Youth Academy of Arts. Emma volunteers her time in the community with the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Team, Wellspring, Sterlington Food Bank, Scouting for Food, and River Cities Humane Society. She does all of this while continuing to excel academically.  Emma was recognized as High School Student of the Year for Ouachita Parish and carried on to achieve the title of Louisiana High School Student of the Year Finalist.
