The aim of the Ouachita Parish School system is to provide leadership and an environment that directs students toward the ultimate goal of self-discipline. The educational welfare of the students, both individually and collectively, must remain the top priority as we continue to help prepare students to become independent and productive citizens. Rules and procedures are both necessary and vital for any school to maintain an educational environment in which students can feel safe and achieve academic success to the best of their ability. Every student and parent has the responsibility to know the rules and procedures of the school at which the student attends. It is extremely important that students follow these rules and procedures in order to minimize unnecessary interruptions to the educational process.
