Grades 6-12: The Ouachita Parish School Board considers appropriate dress an important part of the learning process. The following general guidelines are required. (Individual schools may have a more extensive dress code.) No shorts may be worn in regular class settings. Clothing with suggestive words or pictures will not be allowed. Boys will not be allowed to wear earrings or nose rings. Girls will not be allowed to wear nose rings. No depression jeans (pants with holes) can be worn. Mini skirts should not be worn. Skin tight leggings may only be worn under a regular dress or skirt.
