Middle school and high school bands throughout the parish will be performing for a panel of adjudicators in concert and sightreading categories. This event is parallel to the LEAP and IOWA tests that were administered in the previous week and examines our band programs according to the national music education standards as well as the state benchmarks and strands. Attendance at the festival is free and open to the general public.
