Federal Programs Director Receives State Award

OPSB News Sam Douglas, Federal Programs Director for Ouachita Parish was recently recognized for outstanding accomplishments in education. During the 2008 NAFEPA (National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators) Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., Douglas received the State Leadership Award. NAFEPA presents the award to current members who have assumed significant roles in the support and promotion of activities and goals of the state affiliate organization. Douglas is known far and wide for his abounding knowledge and leadership abilities. He never wastes an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of others. We sincerely congratulate him for this award as well as his almost 44 years of outstanding accomplishments in the field of education.
