RJHS Student will represent in Myrtle Beach

Diarra Bryant, 7th grade student at Richwood Junior High School won first place in the state in Public Speaking at the Junior Beta Club State Convention in Lafayette. After he was announced the winner, Diarra had the opportunity to deliver his winning speech before 11,000 people who were in attendance. He will compete at the National Junior Beta Club Convention in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, June 14-17. Good luck to Diarra!
Other students who competed at the state level were Xiniqua Cloman who won 4th place in the Spelling competition, and Taeler Coleman competed in Poetry. Congratulations to all!!
