Let Us Lead By Service to Others
Posted on Wednesday, January 23 @ 11:32:27 CST by aline

OPSB News The Junior Beta Club of Robinson Elementary School truly leads by service to others. In service projects this year, students have provided admission to the Children’s Museum for 10 students of the Richwood Head Start. They also gave candy canes to the residents of the South Pointe and Francis Towers Retirement Homes. Junior Beta students visited the Sickle Cell Clinic, the Women, Infants, and Children’s Clinic, and the Humane Society Adoption Center for Dogs. They contributed monetary donations to the River City Society for Cats and the Humane Society Adoption Center for Dogs. The club also provided gifts of socks to the veterans of the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Administration. At each location, members cheerfully serenaded individuals and groups. The Robinson Elementary School Junior Beta Club sponsors are Mrs. Evory Johnson, Mrs. Liddie Owens, Mrs. Augustine Cann, and Mr. Donell Hicks.
