Central Teacher Receives Grants

Christy Cuthbert, a Central Elementary teacher, received a QSM grant for $750 which she will add to another grant to total $1400.00. The funds will be used to build garden beds and then plant, grow and harvest plants and vegetables. Mrs. Cuthbert also received a grant totaling $367.00 from www.donorschoose.org to fund a project titled Shake & Bake. This project will be used to encourage Central's students to take part in physical activity and make healthy food choices.
