The following art students in Ouachita Parish were finalist winners in the "Louisiana Festivals" art contest sponsored by the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council:
Dwayne Clem-West Ouachita High School
Jesse Watson-Good Hope Middle School
Rory Futch Good Hope Middle School
Melody Stevens-Ouachita Parish Junior High
Students receiving Honorable Mention Awards are the following:
WOHS-Enowah Clark, Fletcher Marsh, Zach Van Buren, Trey Shamburger, Nathan Dupree, Bonnie Littleton and Katie Golden
OPJH- Melody Stevens, Ian Levine, Sarah Jane Sartor and Jessica Stevens
GHMS-Anne Muckleroy, Blake Crow, Elizabeth Lenox, Maggie Slvester.
All work will be on display at the Masur Museum in the near future. Information on show dates are still pending.
Congratulations to all! Ouachita Parish Art students are making a noticeable contribution with their talent!
