Two OPSS Students of the Year go to State

Eric Hill, a senior at Sterlington High, and Alyssa Leader, an 8th grader at Good Hope Middle, have been selected Region II Students of the Year for 2007. Region II is comprised of 13 school districts: Caldwell, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin, LaSalle, Madison, Monroe City, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas and West Carroll.
Eric and Alyssa will travel to Baton Rouge on April 17 and 18 to compete with eighteen regional nominees for State Student of the Year and attend a reception for regional winners. Congratulations and good luck to both.
