Casey Dozier and Will McDowell won the Grand Prize with Chancie Neal being the runner up. The following students qualify to go to the Regional Science & Engineering Fair: Blaine Armstrong Casey Dozier John Foster Sarah Gresh Brooke Kennedy Heath Lowery Will McDowell Dillon Murphy Chancie Neal Jordan O’Briant Katie Prince Jason Purvis BAND FESTIVAL Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade Calhoun Middle School Band students who participated in the LMEA Band Festival. They received an Excellent rating for their performance on stage and a Superior rating in the Sightreading room. They looked and sounded great in their uniforms. The CMS Band is under the direction of Mrs. Rachele Kennedy. CHOIR FESTIVAL Congratulations to the students of the Advanced and Training Choirs at Calhoun Middle School for their Superior ratings at the Southern Choral Classics Festival which was held in late February. The Advanced choir is directed by Mrs. Rachele Kennedy and the Training Choir is directed by Mr. Scott Holder. Mrs. Jana McCandlish accompanied both choirs at the festival.
