The West Monroe High School Theatre Department and DY Entertainment presents the National Elvis Impersonators Qualifying Contest featuring competitors from throughout the United States. The event will be held Saturday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the WMHS Auditorium.
World class entertainment features "Memories of Elvis" as a benefit for Camp Quality. The international organization was founded in 1983 and is part of Children’s' Charities. One purpose is to send children living with cancer and their families to summer camp to experience a fun, recreational setting with the motto "Laughter is the best medicine." WMHS has a student who has been to Camp Quality since he was seven years old. This will be his tenth year and he now calls himself "a survivor" of cancer. Tickets for the event are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
