All Parish Orchestra Concert

The Ouachita Parish All Parish Orchestra will present its first concert at 2:00 on Sunday, February 18 at the Community Baptist Church, located at 164 Defreese Rd in West Monroe. The All Parish Orchestra is in its first year of existence and consists of string students from schools throughout the Ouachita Parish School System. The director of the string orchestra is Mark R. Walker - Instrumental Music Coordinator, Ouachita Parish School System, Co-directors are: John Jowers - string orchestra director at West Ridge Middle School, Good Hope Middle School and West Monroe High School; and Sheri Margrave - string orchestra director at Ouachita Junior High School, Ouachita High School, Swartz Elementary School and Lakeshore Elementary School.
The concert is open to the public and is free of charge.
