OPSB.net - Claiborne School Branch of iBERIA Bank

iBERIA Bank's eleventh branch is now at Claiborne School! This newest bank branch held its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on October 23rd. Twelve of Claiborne's fifth graders are the new bank officers with the positions of branch manager, tellers, bookkeepers, and security guards. These new officers were selected through an interview process by bank officials. Parents and distinguished guests were present for the ceremony including Dr. Frank Hoffmann, Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Scott Robinson, School Board Member, Mrs. Brenda Adams, Instructional Team, and Mrs. Aline Smead, Communications Coordinator. Lt. Paul Blunschi with the Sheriff's Department swore in the two security guards.

Students in grades four and five were excited to open accounts and make their first deposits! Monthly "Bank At School" days are scheduled throughout the school year. Claiborne School is one of three schools in the state to have an iBERIA Bank Branch.
