Attention Parents of PreSchool Children!
Louisiana Public Broadcasting and the Gannett Foundation are sponsoring a "free" workshop for children getting ready to enter preschool and their parents entitled "Going to School." This workshop will allow parents of preschool children an opportunity to learn important facts that will help their child achieve in school, while their preschool child gets the chance to see what "big school" will be like. Children will work in centers, get a snack, and meet Clifford- The Big Red Dog!
We are delighted to have two identical workshops scheduled at the Ouachita Parish Media Center, 701 St. John Street in Monroe, Louisiana, on August 16. The morning workshop will begin at 9:00 A.M. and end at 11:00 A.M. The afternoon session is scheduled for 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. Limited seating is available for each workshop! The capacity for each workshop is 30 parents and 30 children. Call today! We can't wait to meet you!
