The West Monroe High School Rebel Choir took part in the Louisiana Music Educators Association District Large Ensemble Festival on Thursday, February 23. They received Superior Ratings (1) from all three judges for their performance and a Superior (1) rating in sight-reading. They were awarded a Sweepstakes Trophy for the Festival. This continues their streak of consecutive Superior Ratings under the direction of Greg A. Oden. Congratulations to the fine musicians that make up the choir and thanks to the parents, teachers, and administration that support the Rebel Choir. Members of the Rebel Choir will be performing Mozart's Coronation Mass in Vienna, Austria in July.
