WMHS Student Wins Young Artists Competition

West Monroe High School is pleased to report that Mallory Sanchez, flutist, competed this past Saturday in the Youth Division of the Young Artists Competition of the Monroe Symphony Orchestra. After the preliminary round she was one of three selected to compete in the final round that afternoon. Another electric performance of the Chaminade Flute Concerto earned her the top title in her division. Congratulations to Mallory for her dedication and commitment to excellence. She is a student of Robert Freeman, Frank Saunders, Dr. Michael Spears, and Dr. Sandra Lunte.
