WOHS Students Share the Spirit of Christmas

Members of the West Ouachita High School Crimson Line, Lady Chiefs Softball Team, Cheerleaders and Consumer Science Classes decided to put action into the words "Merry Christmas". The students joined in the Samaritan's Purse Project by collecting over fifty shoe boxes and filling them with age appropriate gifts for children from poverty stricken nations. These may be the only gifts the children receive this year. Even though many people are "tightening their belts" in order to celebrate this season, these WOHS teens dug deep and gave without expecting anything in return. School faculty members were honored to work with young adults who are a credit not only to their families, but also to those less fortunate.
