Chisley Garners National Recognition

On Wednesday, October 5th, Tereatha Chisley (Richwood Junior High) and Shirley Brown (Robinson Elementary LMS) traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend a program honoring America's National Distinguished Principals. The program was jointly sponsored by the United States Department of Education and the National Association of Elementary School Principals. Mrs. Chisley was one of 66 principals to share in this honor. She qualified by being named Louisiana Elementary Principal of the Year. During the two days in the capital city, honorees were recognized for their hard work and dedication to education. They were applauded for their efforts in helping America's children acquire a sound foundation for lifelong learning.
