Posted on Thursday, May 19 @ 15:31:43 CDT by aline

OPSB News Students and parents at Woodlawn Elementary recently participated in “Imagine A Technology Blackout Day”. Activities included a discussion about the role of technology in our world noting changes over the last 20 years. Students answered questions from their discussion. They also wrote about how technology makes life easier, and how it will be used in their careers. Parents were asked to complete a homework assignment of 2 technology related questions about why it is important for their children to be technology literate, and how technology can help teachers be more effective in teaching. Responses were submitted to this nationally conducted event. Teachers participating were Mrs. Laura McFarland and Ms. Posey Moller.
