A. L. Smith Elementary Sends Help To Tsunami Victims

Students, parents, and faculty of A. L. Smith Elementary School participated in a schoolwide collection effort to benefit victims of the South Asian Tsunami. The tsunami hit the area on December 26, 2004, devastating and affecting many nations of the world. Students joined with the Red Cross Emergency Relief Effort to assist the ravaged areas in gaining stability and rebuilding lives. Students collected $825.00 that will be used for the purchase of medicine, food, bottled water, clothing and immediate shelter. We are so proud of our students who have shown their commitment to becoming active members of a global community.
