Sterlington High School to Host Regional Spanish Festival

On Saturday, February 26 from 9 am to 1 pm, Sterlington High School, in conjunction with Bastrop High School, will host a Regional Spanish Festival. The Festival is sponsored by the ULM Foreign Languages Department and the Antionio Marguil Chapter.
This year's theme is "Un Crucero de Amistad" (A Freindship Cruise). More than 200 students are expected to attend the festival which will provide then with an opportunity to learn about and experience first hand the culture of the Spanish-speaking islands and countries of the Caribbean.
This is Sterlington's 2nd year to host the event with Ouachita Parish High School hosting last year's event. Other local area schools involved include: OPHS, West Monroe, Neville, Ouachita Christian, Bastrop, Sterlington, Delta, Cedar Creek, and Epps.
