Mrs. Judy Graham sponsored the event. Thanks go out to Dr. Frank Hoffman for being the moderator and to retired teachers--Mrs. Heidi Priestley and Mrs. Maggie Huey--for being judges. Fifty-two students in grades 7 and 8 participated and the winners are as follows: 3rd Place--Kristin Cromwell 2nd Place--Seth Knight 1st Place--Alexis Traylor The winning word was "prognosis." Alexis will represent OJHS in the District Spelling Bee later this month.
