Math Match competition for 5th grade gifted students was recently held at Claiborne Elementary. Students competed from the following schools: A. L. Smith, Highland, Swartz, Jack Hayes, Lakeshore, Woodlawn, Pinecrest, Drew, Robinson, Shady Grove, Boley, and Claiborne. Individual winners for the competition were:
1st Place (27 out of 30 correct answers) -
Jonathan Roberts - Claiborne
2nd Place (26 out of 30 correct answers) -
Wesley Green - Highland
Jacob Anderson - Highland
Jaas Kang - A.L. Smith
Sarah Johnston - Jack Hayes
3rd Place (25 out of 30 correct answers) -
Mallory Keene - Lakeshore
Emily Toddy - Claiborne
4th Place (23 out of 30 correct answers) -
Jordan Baugh - Claiborne
Randy Joe Branch - Woodlawn
