Lenwil Students Pen Pal With Air Force Troops

Twenty-eight students from Lenwil Elementary have been e-mail pen pals with twenty-eight Air Force Troops since last November. The troops were stationed in Guam from September through the first week of January. All but one of the troops are based at Barksdale AFB. Lenwil pen pal students were lucky to have one of the troops visit with them Wednesday, January 26. Technical Sergeant Perry Pagan showed Air Force pictures and video footage. He brought his pen pal a Hawaiian teddy bear and gave each of the student pen pals a small bottle of sand from Tumon Bay Beach, Guam. We hope that more of the Air Force pen pals will be able to visit Lenwil soon!!
