Red Ribbon Week at Crosley Prek/K
Posted on Monday, November 08 @ 09:30:29 CST by aline

OPSB News Crosley Prek/K began Red Ribbon Week with a visit from Nathan Roberts the magician and Miss Louisiana. On Monday the entire school wore sunglasses because "We're Too Cool To Do Drugs". On Tuesday, we decided we like hugs, not drugs and everybody who brought their Teddy Bear received a special treat. We became "Sweet Tarts" who are drug free on Wednesday when 98% of the entire school wore red. Thursday, we had a very special visit brom Sheriff Fewell and Corporal Pearline Harris-Finley who talked to us about the DARE Program. They brought us treats and we treated them to 10,800 pennies our school collected for the DARE Program. We finished the week with a Fall Festival on Friday where we earned treats, prizes, played games, and most of all, showed the community that We're So Cool and We're Drug Free!
