Calhoun Middle School will host a one-day workshop on Test Taking Strategies for the ACT. Dr. Charles Gifford from New Orleans will conduct the workshop. Gifford has conducted test score improvement workshops for over 25 years involving students and teachers in all 50 states and foreign countries. He will be at Calhoun Middle School on Saturday, November 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Workshop topics will include: Test taking techniques for all testing situations; Test taking strategies for each part of the ACT; Hints for effective study for the ACT; and Practice exercises for true testing experiences.
