George Welch recently held their 5th annual blood drive. The 4-H club co-sponsors the "Day of Caring" event to help give something back to the community. This year's drive was for Jake Raborn. He is an adorable two year old that is presently at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis. Jake's mother and grandmother work for the Ouachita Parish School System. The drive was a huge success with 59 donors! It is a great cause with such a positive outcome. Thanks to everyone who helped with the event and to Progressive Bank for the screen-printed shirts. Also, remember the Raborn family in your prayers.
