A reception was held on Thursday, September 16, in the school library to thank Hibernia National Bank, who sponsors this reading program throughout the state. At the reception, students shared their feelings about the new books, and Ms Betty Price, librarian, read the 2004 Young Readers' Choice Award book, Petite Rouge: A Cajun Red Riding Hood by Jim Artell to the guests. Everyone agreed that the book's title, as the favorite book of the students in Louisiana, was well deserved.
