News: Teaching & Learning with Technololgy Institute
Posted on Monday, July 19 @ 08:43:30 CDT by aline

OPSB News 9 members of Central Elementary's faculty - Diane McVay, Don'a Delgado, Jennifer Harris, Michelle Thrower, Debbie Nugent, Joy Poole, Jennifer Willis, Nancy Smith & Jennifer Kelly (member in spirit) -spent July 12, 13 & 14 participating in the seventh annual Teaching & Learning with Technology Institue in Baton Rouge. These people will continue to work together throughout the fall, participating in an on-line course offered through the State Department of Education, to broaden their understanding of ways to use technology and develop techniques to integrate technology into the instruction in their classrooms. While they left Baton Rouge with their heads spinning from all the new ideas and techniques discovered, they are excited at the possibilities of what this will mean for the students at Central for the 2004/2005 school year.
