Eleven WMHS students successfully completed the 2004 "A-HEC of a Summer" program at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. For three weeks these students rotated through various departments of the hospital in the morning and met with educator Mary Clark in the afternoon. When all was said and done, these students earned a 1/2 high school credit. This program is designed to give students a hands-on experience in the world of health care. The knowledge gained will enable them to make wise career choices in the future. These students also visited the cadaver lab at the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport as well as Life Air and the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency. Congratulations to Brooke Attaway, Krystal Durbin, Melissa Hollingsworth, Heather Denton, Cari Beth Winters, Kirstie Robinson, David Reeves, Thom Rogers, Tre'Shan Williams, Daphne Shiro, and Brittany Place on a job well done!
