News: Allied Health Program Continues to Grow

OPSB News West Monroe High School was selected as one of eight schools in the state to offer a pilot program in Pharmacy Tech. Twenty seniors recently completed the one semester program and are now eligible to take the national certification test. Not only will this course enable them to get a job as a Pharmacy Tech, but it will also give them a competitive edge when applying for Pharmacy School. The instructor, Mrs. Lori Blakeney, recently passed the national certification herself.
