News: WMHS Helps Speed Up the Cure

For the last four months the students and faculty of WMHS have worked hard to "help speed up the cure" for cancer by raising funds for the Amerrican Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Several fundraisers resulted in WMHS winning the award for most funds raised with a total of almost $7000.00. WMHS also won the award for best decorated campsite as well as the "unsung hero" award. This award goes to the team that has been diligent in all aspects such as turning in paper work and funds on time. The best part of the Relay for Life was the opportunity to work with other teachers you did not know. All agreed that the new friendships gained were well worth the work involved.
