OPSS library media specialists were invited to attend the 14th Annual Breakfast honoring Grambling State University librarians at the Ruston Civic Center. Renowned author Ernest J. Gaines was the featured speaker. He explained how valuable libraries had been to his career and reminded us that not all people have always had access to libraries and their services. Library Media Specialists in attendance were: Mary Watley/WOHS, Claudia Alexander/CMS, Barbara Dunn/OPHS, Pollye Tillman/OPHS, and Special Education Teacher Queen Henderson/WOHS.
