News: Calhoun Middle School Wins Overall Top School at the State Science Fair

OPSB News Last Friday, CMS was represented by 4 students at the State Science Fair at LSU. All four students placed at the state level. Erin McCown placed 2nd in Behavioral Science. Sagan Ezell placed 2nd in Earth and Space Science. Daniel Murray placed 3rd in Engineering. Brian Milstead received an Honorable Mention in Physics. Erin and Sagan were also awarded Discovery Science Awards while Sagan received the Baton Rouge Astrological Award in the Junior Division. This award gives Sagan 20 hours of private use of the telescope at the Baton Rouge Observatory. CMS aslo won the Overall Top School Award in this years LSEF 50th State Science Fair Competition.

Congratulations to these students for the way they represented Calhoun Middle School and the Ouachita Parish School System.
