The book award program is a reading enrichment initiative of the Louisiana Center for the Book and the State Library of Louisiana, generously supported by Hibernia National Bank. Students in grades 3-5, under the guidance of Nancy Hay, librarian, read and voted on this year's books. This made the school eligible for a randon drawing to receive a free set of books offered by Hibernia National Bank.
